HALL-DMV-Set: Marking work easier
The HALL torque (known as the DMV for
short) looks like an extension piece for a
socket spanner, but is, in fact, an accurately-working torque tool.
The DMV is a time-
saving alternative to the torque wrench. It transforms a simple pneumatic
screwdriver
into a pneumatically-driven torque wrench.
Why should you use this tool?
As track manufacturers, both we and our
competitors prescribe exact torque settings
for inspection work. Non-compliance with these torque settings can
cause damage to
the screwed fittings, and cause a break-down which can lead to expensive
consequential
damage. Many mechanics take the easy way out, and turn down the power
of the com-
pressed air tightening tool, assuming that this will be enough to
ensure thr required tor-
que. This can involve great risks, however. For
this reason, you should use the HALL
DMV for all track inspections !
